It’s hard to prepare a “presentation” when … you don’t really know who you are presenting. 

It’s difficult  to give a presentation with … hardly any photos.

It’s hard to talk about someone who … does not want to be seen or talked about.

We know hardly anything about the writer (he or she?) who is hiding under the pen name of Elena Ferrante.  Or perhaps we could get to know her or him if we searched for them in their books?  And maybe this is exactly the point?

And so so let me invite you to discover and talk about Elena Ferrante’s books – about the characters, about their beloved Naples and about that Italy she (or he) has been writing about in such a brilliant way for over 30 years.
